The Sober Diving Centre in Nusa Lembongan, Bali, recently hosted the Bali Underwater Hockey Tournament 2022 from 6th to 8th May 2022. The event was organized by Sober Diving Centre and supported by the Jakarta Underwater Hockey Club. It was an excellent opportunity for underwater hockey players from different countries to come together and showcase their skills in this unique sport.

The tournament started with a 6v6 division potluck, which allowed players from different countries to form teams and compete with one another. This process allowed players to experience different gameplays and learn from more experienced players, thereby diversifying their knowledge and skills among underwater hockey players. The 6v6 division potluck was an excellent way to kickstart the tournament, and it set the tone for the rest of the event.

The 4v4 division started on the 2nd day, and Malaysia sent two teams, the Malaysia Elite Team and the Malaysia Youth Team, to compete in this division. The competition was fierce, and the Malaysian teams faced tough opponents from other countries. Despite the challenging competition, the Malaysia Elite Team managed to secure the 3rd place, while the Malaysia Youth Team won the 4th place.

One such event was the celebration dinner at The Coconut Hut – Mini Golf, which was held on the final day of the tournament. The dinner was a perfect way to end the tournament, and it provided an opportunity for players to unwind and relax after the intense competition. The event was full of fun, laughter, and joy, and everyone had a great time.

The award ceremony was also held during the dinner, where players who had excelled in their respective categories were recognized and awarded.
